MeshCore Asia is an independent community project. It is not affiliated with, and not endorsed by, the official MeshCore project. MeshCore itself is developed at meshcore.io and on GitHub.
Why
Someone in Asia who wants to try MeshCore should quickly find answers to:
- What is MeshCore?
- Which frequency may I use in my country?
- Where are the nodes, and where can I join a network?
- How do I build an observer, and which hardware should I buy?
- How do I reach the local community?
Where we are
The project starts small: in Phuket, Thailand, with the first node. The platform is built so that more countries, regions and eventually thousands of nodes can join without starting over.
Principles
- Honest data. We only show what is actually received or documented. No invented node counts, no assumed coverage.
- Radio regulation first. Frequencies are marked Proposed until checked against official regulation.
- Privacy. We work with network metadata only and never decrypt private messages.
